The GhostLight Theatre - Statement on COVID-19 Accommodations
The GhostLight Theatre is looking forward to bringing you back safely to our theatre space for our 2021 calendar of shows. The safety and health of our audiences, cast, and crew, are our top priority. Rest assured that if we cannot safely stage a performance in the theatre on its scheduled date, we will have backup dates and/or outdoor locations, weather permitting.
As we follow our governor’s executive orders on social gathering, we are gradually opening for small groups. We will continue to follow the state's guidelines for gathering indoors. Please help us all by adhering to the following requests:
MASKS: Please wear a mask when you are inside The GhostLight Theatre building. If you forget your mask, please let us know and we will provide one to you.
TRACING INFORMATION: Please answer screening questions truthfully when you arrive at the building and please provide limited personal information that will allow the state to do contract tracing if a positive case is later confirmed. We will only share this information with authorities for contract tracing.
SOCIAL DISTANCING: Our 2,000 square foot black box theatre room can easily accommodate a properly social-distanced seating arrangement. Members of the same household may sit together. We will arrange theatre chairs so each group is at least 6 feet from all other groups.
SANITATION: The GhostLight staff will clean all “high touchpoint” surfaces before each event. Please use the hand sanitizer available throughout the building as well as warm water and soap in all bathrooms.
LOOKING FORWARD: You can be confident that all indoor gatherings will continue to comply with the State of Michigan’s guidelines that are in place at the time of each event. And if performances must move outdoors, we will ensure that your open-air theatre experience is safe, comfortable, and enjoyable. We are all looking forward to welcoming you back safely to The GhostLight Theatre!
